In her welcome address, Federal Environment Minister Dr. Barbara Hendricks emphasised: "Progressive products are a key requirement for environmentally friendly consumption. We need people, ideas and entrepreneurship to reach that goal. The Bundespreis Ecodesign supports and honours commitment to this aim."
