Click to enlargeFrom 27 to 29 November 2018, the German Environment Agency (UBA) is hosting the fourth European Resources Forum (ERF) and National Resources Forum (NRF) in Berlin. Both conferences have established themselves as important platforms for the scientific and political debate about a sustainable use of natural resources in Germany, Europe and internationally.
At the ERF on 27/28 November, European and international approaches for a sustainable resource use will be presented and discussed. Special attention is paid to the synergies between resource protection and climate protection. Among other things, the German NRF on 29 November will discuss the challenges and prospects for German resource efficiency policy and the role played by the federal states.
The UBA’s motto, For our environment (“Für Mensch und Umwelt”), sums up our mission pretty well, we feel. In this video we give an insight into our work.
