New instruments for cooperation with the administration in environmental matters in Croatia

The participation of civil society in environmentally relevant administrative decisions can contribute to greater environmental protection. Access to environmental information and good co-operation with the administration are of central importance in this regard. Zelena Akcija's ‘Green Phone’ project has been supporting citizens and civil society organisations in Croatia since 1997 by providing advice over the phone. The project has expanded this service to include an app that can be used to report environmental damage via smartphone.
