Natura 2000 mapping in habitats of high priority for nature protection in Montenegro

A prerequisite for the protection of sensitive near-natural watercourses is knowledge of their occurrence. Only then can measures be taken to preserve the ecological and socio-economic value of potential Natura 2000 sites. The project therefore focused on the inventory of these water bodies in the sense of the Habitats Directive in four project regions in Montenegro that are threatened by the construction of small hydropower plants.
