Capacity building for water management on local level in the Ukraine

The aim of the project was to permanently strengthen local authorities and civil society in water management, especially in small river units, and to contribute to long-term environmental relief in Ukraine. Tailor-made handouts support Ukraine in implementing the requirements of the EU Water Framework Directive in a targeted and cost-effective manner.

Also in other regions, the handouts may support the usage of inexpensive bio-ingeuneuring activities to renaturate small rivers.
