In this 4th Summer School on Sustainable Pharmacy special attention will be given to areas not taught in the regular study program. These are e.g. drug quality and the role of excipients, environmental, regulatory and legal aspects as well as pharmacoepidemiology and global aspects of sustainable pharmacy, like production outside of Europe and health systems of sub-Sahara Africa.

Gaming on PCs, consoles and smartphones has gained immense importance in recent years and not just since the COVID-19 pandemic. The research project “Serious Gaming and Sustainability” of the German Environment Agency takes a look approaches to the use of games. The project has developed its own serious game “Little Impacts”.

Database presents German initiatives on UN sustainability goal 12

In 2015, the United Nations adopted 17 goals for worldwide socially, ecologically and economically sustainable development (Sustainable Development Goals, SDGs). The SDG 12 database shows which developments have taken place in Germany since then with regard to Goal 12 "Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns". It currently comprises more than 120 activities.
