Collaboration “Dessau-Rosslau lives global openness and diversity” nominated for the German Demography Award from over 70 projects

The collaboration between the city of Dessau- Rosslau, Anhalt University of Applied Sciences and the German Environment Agency “Dessau- Rosslau Lives Global Openness and Diversity”, which has been running since spring 2021, has been nominated for the German Demography Award in the “Living Diversity” category. The German Demography Award is an initiative of the Demography Network e.V. (ddn). Among the organisations represented are Deutsche Bahn, Siemens, Zeit Akademie, BV BFW, ING, BAHN-BKK, nextpractice-Institut and insurance company R+V Versicherung The award honours projects that find creative solutions to the challenges of demographic change. In the “Living Diversity” category, projects are honoured that promote participation and openness to a diverse community and help to reduce discrimination and compensate for current inequalities in opportunities.
