Call for Data 2024-2025
At the 40th ICP Modelling and Mapping Taskforce meeting and 31st CCE Workshop, (Oslo, 23-25 April 2024) the Coordination Centre for Effects (CCE) was requested to issue a Call for Data (CfD) in 2024 with a deadline in early 2025. The results of this CfD will be integrated in the European critical load dataset which will support the CLTRAP in the process of the revision of the Gothenburg protocol. As decided at this meeting as well, the deadline for data is set at 31 January 2025 and the final deadline for reports is set at 31 March 2025.
The main objective of this Call for Data is to update the national contribution to the policy relevant Critical Load database, which includes Steady-State/Simple Massbalance methods to calculate CL for Eutrophication and Acidification for terrestrial and/or aquatic ecosystems.
Call for Data 2023-2024
The International Co-operative Program on Modelling and Mapping (ICP M&M) and CCE are pleased to invite National Focal Centers (NFC) to participate in the Call for Data (CfD) 2023 on empirical Critical Loads, which has been agreed at the 38th meeting of the ICP Modelling and Mapping Task Force along with the 29th meeting of the Coordination Centre for Effects on 3–5 May 2022 (ECE/EB.AIR/GE.1/2022/16−ECE/EB.AIR/WG.1/2022).
The main objective of this Call for Data is to implement the recently reviewed and updated empirical Critical Load for Nitrogen (CLempN) and to prepare a future item in the WGE/EMEP workplan 2024-2025 on applying next risk assessment including the CLempN. NFCs are kindly asked to send first draft results and reports to the CCE by 1st August 2023. The information available at that time will be used to inform the other bodies of the Convention on Long Range Transboundary Air Pollution (CLRTAP) at WGE/EMEP meeting in Septmber 2023 on the progress on the application of new CLempN in risk assessment under the remit of the CLRTAP. The final submission of the contribution should be delivered by 31st March 2024 to the CCE at the latest.
Call for Data 2019-2021
This Call for Data has been published in November 2019. The main objective of this Call for Data is to review and update empirical Critical Loads and steady-state Critical Loads. The deadline for the deliverables for the empirical Critical Load topic was spring 2020 for the first report and spring 2021 for the second report. The deadline for the deliverables for the steady-state Critical Load topic was spring 2020 for the status report and spring 2021 for the most recent data delivery. In the PDF below you will find initial information on the envisaged review process to plan your activities and resources until spring 2021.
Extension of Call for Data (2015/2017) until February 2019
The Call for Data (2015/2017) was extended until 28 February 2019. All NFCs were kindly asked to review their submissions to the CCE and revise as necessary. The instructions and the data format are identical to those in the Call for Data 2015/2017 and can be downloaded from the following links:
