Preparing the Romanian Minstry of Environment and Water Management for the application of various EU legal norms (VOC, LPC, Seveso II Directives) | Umweltbundesamt

The aim of this project was to analyze existing inventories, registers and the IT-infrastructure of the Romanian government for the implementation of the EU-directives 96/82/EC, 99/13/EC and 2001/80/EC. Moreover, the need for staff and technical equipment was assessed. This way, installation-related data became more transparent and the environmental situation in Romania is easier to assess for third parties.
