Preparing the Romanian Minstry of Environment and Water Management for the application of various EU legal norms (VOC, LPC, Seveso II Directives)

The aim of this project was to analyze existing inventories, registers and the IT-infrastructure of the Romanian government for the implementation of the EU-directives 96/82/EC, 99/13/EC and 2001/80/EC. Moreover, the need for staff and technical equipment was assessed. This way, installation-related data became more transparent and the environmental situation in Romania is easier to assess for third parties.
