VACCA – Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Arctic

Reduction of vulnerability and implementation of adaptation measures for climate change in the Arctic represent major challenges for this region. The project VACCA (Vulnerability and Adaptation to Climate Change in the Arctic) was approved by the Arctic Council in 2007 and is designed to prove practical and useful knowledge and to support the sharing of knowledge at different levels of government and between sectors, so that this knowledge can influence policy and decision making.
